Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. When you attach the monitor it will default to mirrored. Simply go into display settings and set it to extend rather than mirror. One issue I did find though it will not run at full native resolution. My iMac has 2560 x 1440 and it tries to scale the 2560 x 1080 to match. So it is not as clear and crisp as it should be. I am going to continue to play with it and I think I will be able to clear that issue up. Hope this helps.
