Yes, as long as you have your console connected to the internet/xbox live. The TV/monitor has nothing to do with online status.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have xbox live there's no reason you couldn't. The monitor/tv shouldn't effect the multiplayer capabilities of the Xbox unless it's splitscreen in which case the monitor should be fine for two players with a vertical split.
