• A:Answer The Best Buy instructional video about how to measure in preparation for the delivery said that 3.75 inches is required on the side if the fridge is along a wall. One side will be along a wall. The width of my opening is 35 inches. This would allow the necessary 3.75 inches on the side of the fridge that’s along the wall. The other side is along a counter cabinet and the door is well past the depth of the fridge and can open as far as it needs to. Will this not work?

• A:Answer You should allow the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 21.8 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel, Model # LFDS22520S to run for at least two to three hours before putting food in it. If it is still not cooling, check to make sure that the refrigerator is not in Display Mode (For Store Use Only). The Display Mode disables all cooling in the refrigerator and freezer sections to conserve energy while on display in a retail store. When activated OFF will display on the control panel and the display will remain on for 20 seconds. To deactivate/activate: With either refrigerator door opened, press and hold the Refrigerator and Ice Plus buttons at the same time for five seconds. The control panel will beep and the temperature settings will display to confirm that Display Mode is deactivated...^IFV

Q: QuestionI have a space from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet of 68 1\2 inch above where the refrigerator will go, will this fit? The cabinets sit out maybe a foot from the wall. The description is confusing about the size.

• A:Answer Yes, this will fit. We have the same situation of 68.5" from floor to bottom of the wall cabinet. With the fridge installed, there is still 1" of space between it and the cabinet. The extra height of the refrigerator is due to the door hinges which are in front.

• A:Answer It is actually fingerprint resistant. I tested it in the store and when it arrived by placing my hand flat against the door, even sliding my hand around a bit, no problem. However, drips, hands that might be a little wet, and a variety of other things touching the surface do leave marks, a lot of them. I have talked to friends who found out the same thing. Quite disappointing, but a rag with gentle dish soap, a rinse and dry, and it sparkles again. You just have to keep up with it.
