Honestly, I find it very frustrating that 275 degrees is the lowest temperature available for the LG's convection bake setting. Do other brands have more flexibility? I never would have bought this over had I known.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm just finding this out on New Year's Day trying to cook a Prime Rib. I don't see any logical reason for it. Same with the auto-conversion. It seems like LG thinks it knows better how to cook your food than you do. Complicating, confusing and restricting basic functions for no good reason. Would never have purchased this had I known beforehand. I would assume that since these are "smart" appliances they could fix these settings with a firmware update but not holding my breath. The only good part is, that the auto-conversion drops 300 to 275 which may be acceptable for my purposes. Wake up LG, we're not idiots. Why hamstring your own appliance for no reason?

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The oven in the LG Black Stainless Steel Series 6.7 Cu. Ft. Capacity Electric Double Oven Range with Easyclean®, Model # LDE3037BD can be programmed to bake at any temperature from 170°F (77°C) to 550°F (288°C). The default temperature is 350°F (177°C). When cooking using a convection cycle (Conv. bake and roast), the oven temperature is automatically reduced by 25°F. The display will show the changed temperature. This feature is called ”AUTO CONVERSION”. This range comes with this feature “ENABLED”, but it can be "DISABLED"...^IFV
