QuestionI am looking for a self contained shelf system that can be placed in a cabinet with remote speakers outside. Would this model accomplish that. Are the speakers remote?

- Answer The speakers come with about 4-5 feet of wire. They're hard-wired to the speaker. But the main unit has spring clips that they connect to. I haven't done it yet, but I see no reason that you couldn't splice on a few more feet of wire.

- Answer Yes, based on many of the reviews you can, but you can only connect one BT device at a time if one is an Apple/i-device. If you're connecting only Android platform devices via BT you can connect a total of 3 of those simultaneously.

- Answer Sure! You can use RCA cables and connectors from the back of your TV, to the AUX In on the back of the LG system. If your TV doesn't have RCA out connectors, it may have a mini-adapter headphone jack. If it does, simply get the right connector (mini to stereo RCA), and you'll be all set. Alternatively if your TV supports Bluetooth Out, you can pair and play that way.

QuestionDoes this have an optical input? The LG site said to "plug in the optical cable" but I can't see a port for that and there's no mention of it in any description I can find anywhere. Also, what is the frequency response of the system? +/- ? db?

- Answer I checked the spec sheet, it shows it does NOT support optical. Digital Audio (Optical) Input If you look at the line item in the sheet you'll see it is not checked off as being supported. So no...
