It should allow you to change the resolution but you will get a warning saying it isn't recommended and you might not be able to fix it in the future. I would reach out to tech support and see if they could walk you through it step by step for what you're trying to do exactly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You cannot change the resolution from the monitor. Your LG 34" WQHD 100Hz 5ms Smart Monitor with HDR10 (HDMI, USB-A) - Black, Model # 34SR60QC-B, has a native WQHD (3440x1440) resolution. It also supports 640 x 480 @ 60 Hz, 800 x 600 @ 60Hz, 1024 x 768 @ 60Hz, 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz, 1360 x 768 @ 60 Hz, 3440 x 1440 @ 30/50/85/100 Hz, and 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz over HDMI. You have to set the graphics card in your PC/Laptop to output the supported resolutions on the monitor. However, as you have noted, the monitor's native resolution has a 21:9 Aspect Ratio, and all the listed supported resolutions have a 16:9 Aspect Ratio, so they will display with vertical black bars on the left and right sides when viewed on the monitor...^Ivan.
