It depends on a few different things. First, how are you connecting the display to your computer and second, how do you mouse and keyboard connect. If you are planning to connect your display to your computer via something that has power-delivery (Thunderbolt 3, for example), you can use the USB-A ports on the back of the monitor. If you are planning to connect the monitor via something like DisplayPort, that does NOT have power delivery so the USB-A ports on the back of the display would not be powered. In that case, you will need to connect your mouse and keyboard into your computer more directly. You didn't mention what type of computer you're planning to use with this display so I'm not sure what ports you have available. If your mouse and keyboard are bluetooth devices that do not require a dongle, you should be able to pair them directly with whatever computer you have (assuming it's new enough to have bluetooth connectivity). If they require a dongle or are wired devices, make sure your computer has the appropriate ports. I have a MacBook Pro connected via Thunderbolt 3 to my 34WK95U-W. I have a wired mouse connected to a USB-A port on the back of the monitor and a bluetooth keyboard connected to my MacBook Pro. It all works great. I hope this helps.
