• Yes u need a pc. It’s only a computer monitor and not a computer. I hook it with USB cable to a laptop. It does have a USB port I believe more than one. You can connect a USB mouse or directly to your laptop or personal computer but you do have to connected with the HDMI cable and I use it as a second monitor for work and it has been a godsend to me because working from that tiny laptop that Work provides is horrible.
