QuestionDo these washers have a problem with mold and/or mildew?

- Answer If you do not maintain the washer, it will eventually have this problem. There are a few things that you can/should do in order to keep this issue from occuring. The easiest and most common would be to leave the door open after the wash cycle has completed and the washer is empty. Also, wiping the door and rubber gasket will help. You also should be draining the washer monthly and cleaning the filter which on LG's are locate on the front of the unit towards the bottom. It is also a good idea to drain the washer if you are going on vacation or not planning on using your washer for days at a time. Lastly, using a washer machine cleaner such as Affresh will go a long way. It's fairly cheap at only $8.99 which will include 3 tablets (3month supply). Use one tablet in a normal cycle or tub clean cycle once a month and you will greatly increase the chances of preventing the mold and mildew build-up.

- Answer Yes, this model could handle a king size, but I always recommend to wash a comforter by itself, it is better to give a comforter as much extra space as possible.

QuestionCan I utilized Tide Pods?P&G advertises ok to utilized Tide Pods, but put them directly in the washer drum before loading clothes. Is this true for ur Steam Front Loading washers?

- Answer We only recommend to use HE powder or liquid detergent (in the dispenser). As it turns out pods are not recommendable. Thank you for your question!

- Answer TrueSteam and Steam are just the same. They use the same steam generator so there's no difference :)

- Answer Definitely not necessary. Our washer and dryer combo are setup with out pedestals so we can use the tops for folding clothes.

QuestionDoes this washer have a spin only cycle?

- Answer I have the 3.7 model which just replaced my 7 year old LG washer. Both of my machines have a spin only cycle. When you turn on the washer instead of selecting a wash cycle you simply select the spin speed you want and then hit start. The washer will then run only the spin cycle you selected. Hope that helps.

- Answer No, the steam feature has a separate reservoir you fill. I recommend distilled or reverse osmosis water so you don't get sediment build-up.
