- Answer The door for the LG - 4.0 Cu. Ft. 7-Cycle Ultra-large Capacity High-Efficiency Front-Loading Washer, Model # WM3050CW, can be left slightly ajar to ventilate. The feature is called the Magnetic Door Plunger! It allows you to safely and conveniently secure the door slightly ajar with the magnetic door plunger and will promote air circulation and allow the interior of the machine to dry. To use this feature, after the load has been removed, do not close the door completely. When the magnetic door plunger comes into contact with the metal washer cabinet, it will secure the door slightly open allowing the interior of the washer to dry...IFV

- Answer Hi momzurch, Your interest in the LG - 4.0 Cu. Ft. 7-Cycle Ultralarge-Capacity High-Efficiency Front-Loading Washer, Model # WM3050CW. Using the machine for an extended period of time or leaving detergent in the detergent dispenser draw for an extended period of time can cause a build up of scales and so Yes, the dispenser draw can be pulled out for cleaning. You would have to press down hard on the dispenser draw, pull it out and use warm water to wash the inserts and you can use a soft cloth or brush to clean out any residue...IFV

- Answer Bought ours 7yrs ago and it is doing the same thing...check your door gasket - ours has a tear in it.

- Answer Ours does this too, so it may be fairly normal. It's a little annoying but we can live with it since we're really happy with the washer overall. Sorry, but I don't have a solution.
