“Does anyone succeeded to connect the LG SJ4R sound bar with LG TV through HDMI arc? I am not able to connect and LG support is unable to solve the issue. But it works for optical and BT functions.”

Found the option to enable HDMI ARC, we have to turn on 'simplink' in LG TV to connect HDMI ARC. If this is enabled, you can control sound bar volume using TV remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I called LG tech support twice before I hooked up to my LG 4K TV (I have both options). Both techs said to use the optical instead of HDMI/ARC because you have to change the connection on the TV to HDMI/ARC vs no change to TV using optical. So I hooked up using optical cord included and it works just fine.
