You will need a 220 volt connection for the Electric Dryer. If you need a 3or 4 prong connection depends on how old your house is. You could talk to an Appliance associate at the closest Best Buy store near you and he will be able to let you know what you need. I hope this answers your Question.

If you have it installed for you, be sure to order the three prong cord with it and they will set it up for you. If you are installing it yourself, be sure to have your cord handy and the appropriate tools. There are instructions on the back of the unit for changing out and installing the cord.
