QuestionMy DLEC888W broke. Will I be able to stack this new model (DLHC1455W) on top of my old WM1388HW washer? I have gotten competing answers from different companies and LG just says "it is not recommended" since they want to sell me a new washer.

- Answer its takes literally twice as long, but as it is just my wife and i, we simply do a wash everyday. its worked very well. if our kids were still at home, i dont think it work for us.

- Answer The dryer works great and doesn't shake annoyingly. It doesn't need a vent accessory. It recirculates heat to dry clothing and throws off minimal heat. It just needs some room behind it for cool air intake and some exhaust. Impressive tech and dries clothes just like any other dryer but takes a bit longer.

Questioncan you mix with a same brand washer but the width of the washer is bigger? The highest we can go is 73 1/2 inches for the stacked washer and dryer, width 34 inches. We had an all in one and it kept breaking down. We do not want a "dorm" sized unit.

- Answer The washer and dryer should have the same width to safely stack. If the widths aren't the same, the footprint probably won't align to support the units being stacked. Typically, the depth of the dryer is greater than the washer but the widths are the same. ^Daphane

- Answer I would say "no". That washer is 27" wide and the dryer is 24" wide. The stacking kit is included with the dryer, but the brackets would not line up correctly on that washer. Washer goes on the bottom. Go with matching washer to fit the dryer (WM1455HWA) or to match that current washer would be DLE3400W. Hope this helps.

- Answer I personally have not had this problem. I use wool dryer balls and don't load more clothes than fit in the washer at one time. I have noticed that if I quickly touch the clothes, I think they're damp, but if I take them out of the dryer for a few seconds or leave my hand on them longer, I realize the clothes are actually dry and what my hand thought was damp clothes was really just the humidity in the dryer air. QuestionWhere is the energy star label? Often on the BB site I am not finding this to compare dryers - I saw 6.40 for CEF, info that doesn't mean anything to me. I saw another dryer with 311 KWH per year, ~ $37 per year - all should have this info to compare
