A:Answer Suggestions from a salesperson that helped me get rid of the smell - 1) always wipe the rubber gasket dry (I was doing that, but didn't realize it's the smaller "fold" in the gasket that really needs to be wiped dry, that's where the drain holes are), 2) spray a mixture of white vinegar and water around the gasket and into those drain holes, 3) be sure to empty the drain line regularly. (I have an older model that looks just like this one, so I'm just assuming the newer model still has a drain line that is accessed behind the small pane on the bottom left of the front of the washer)
