Push the on button and it will come on.

If I'm remembering correctly, as I'm not near my washer right now, one of the buttons is a multi-purpose button. You have to hold it down for about 3 seconds and the light will stay on. The button says it's a light. I believe there's an asterisk in front of it on the left side of the panel. Just take a look. You should see it. Good luck!

I should have looked into this more carefully before asking my question. The answer is easy -- simply press the power button, and the LED light stays on for 4 minutes, or until the cycle starts.

I really do like the light.
