The water inlet hoses for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. High-Efficiency Front Control Top Load Washer in White, Model # WT1501CW are typically about 5 feet long and have 3/4" pipe threads at both ends. Depending on what your size your kitchen faucet (s) are, you may or may not need an adapter. The power outlet for the washer will need to be within 60 inches on either side of the washer and the supplied water pressure must be between 20 psi and 120 psi (138-827 kPa). If the water pressure is more than 120 psi, you'll need to install a pressure reducing valve. The normal height of the drain hose should be approximately 35 - 47 inches from the floor and should not be installed lower than 29 inches or higher than 96 inches above the bottom of the washer or more than 60 inches away from the washer. If you only have one source for your water supply to the washer, you will need to split that two ways with a "Y" connector since both inlets must have water, you cannot leave one open. Any washer can be used with the kitchen faucet provided it meets the product's requirements as outlined within the owner's manual for said product. The above water pressures and recommendations are for the WT1501CW, these may vary for another washer.
