Capacity Top Load Washer with Front Control Design, Model # WT1150CW is specifically designed to use High-Efficiency (HE) detegergent, so if you Tide Pods are High-Detergent Pods, you can use them with this machine. The pods should have the HE logo on their packaging to indicate that they are High-Detergent Pods. You will need to place them in the tub prior to loading your clothes in the washing machine and be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions on their use...^IFV

• A:Answer Hi Alex. Regrettably, we are not clear on you inquiry about "The water does not want to leave it stays inside" and will need some clarification. If you mean that the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu.ft. Capacity Top Load Washer with Front Control Design, Model # WT1150CW is not draining check to see if there is an error code showing on the display. An "OE" error code indicates that your washer is experiencing an issue with draining. The error will display if your washer is unable to drain the water for 13 minutes. Pull the washer away from the wall far enough to check that the drain hose is not bent, or has become pinched between the back of the washer and the wall. After you have inspected the drain hose, perform a SPIN ONLY cycle to see if the drain issue is resolved. The SPIN ONLY cycle should attempt to drain any remaining water that is inside the tub. If the 'OE' code re-appears, your washer will require a repair service. You can visit our site at https://www.lg.com/us/support/repair-service/find-repair-provider that you can use to find an LG Authorized Service Center within a 50-mile radius of your zip code or address that can inspect the machine for you or contact our Support Center at (800) 243-0000 for assistance scheduling a repair service...^IFV

• A:Answer The water inlet hoses for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. High-Efficiency Front Control Top Load Washer in White, Model # WT1501CW are typically about 5 feet long and have 3/4" pipe threads at both ends. Depending on what your size your kitchen faucet (s) are, you may or may not need an adapter. The power outlet for the washer will need to be within 60 inches on either side of the washer and the supplied water pressure must be between 20 psi and 120 psi (138-827 kPa). If the water pressure is more than 120 psi, you'll need to install a pressure reducing valve. The normal height of the drain hose should be approximately 35 - 47 inches from the floor and should not be installed lower than 29 inches or higher than 96 inches above the bottom of the washer or more than 60 inches away from the washer. If you only have one source for your water supply to the washer, you will need to split that two ways with a "Y" connector since both inlets must have water, you cannot leave one open. Any washer can be used with the kitchen faucet provided it meets the product's requirements as outlined within the owner's manual for said product. The above water pressures and recommendations are for the WT1501CW, these may vary for another washer. Q: QuestionWhy does this machine only fill a quarter of the way up the drum? Hitting the add water bottom really doesn't give enough water for laundry to wash freely

• A:Answer LG's HE Top Loader Washing Machines are designed to use HE detergent only, and as little water as possible for energy efficiency. The water level may appear to be too low, but this is normal. This is a common misconception due to familiarity with non-HE top loader models that can use over 40 gallons of water per cycle, however, new HE Top Loaders use up to 28 gallons of water per cycle. Bulky items such as comforters, blankets and sheets will often not receive enough water on Normal or Heavy Duty cycles, and should only be washed using the Bedding cycle. When washing comforters, use liquid detergent. Remember, this is a HE unit and requires minimal detergent. Usually about 2 tablespoons is enough to wash a regular sized load. • A:Answer I think DLE1001w or DLE1501w will match this washer. FLE1001w is not energy certified. DLE1501w is energy certified based on specifications available on other sites. On Best Buy it says not certified.
