The exhaust duct must be 4 '' (10 cm) in diameter with no obstructions. The maximum length of 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct with 4 90 degree elbows is 28 feet. The exhaust duct should be kept as short as possible. The total length of flexible metal duct must not exceed 8 ft. (2.4 m). ^Daphane
