  • QuestionWhat is the warranty on this item?

    Asked by MommaBear.

    • Answer Hello there! We understand your inquiry about the warranty for the LG WashTower model WKEX200HBA. For this WashTower combo, here are the warranty details: Washer • 1 Year General Parts & Labor • 3 Years Parts on Drum • 10 Years Parts on Direct Drive Motor Dryer • 1 Year General Parts & Labor • 3 Years Parts on Drum Labor Coverage • 1 Year General Labor (covers both the washer and dryer) As a troubleshooting tip, if you ever notice your washer isn’t spinning properly or is acting unevenly, try redistributing the clothes inside and running a small-load “Self Clean” cycle following the instructions in your owner’s manual. For the dryer, make sure the lint trap is cleaned before each load to maintain proper airflow and drying efficiency. Keeping vents clear can also help prevent overheating or extended drying times. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-4-5-cu-ft-he-smart-front-load-washer-and-7-4-cu-ft-electric-dryer-washtower-with-steam-and-built-in-intelligence-black-steel/6420312.p?skuId=6420312 Should you have any further questions about service, repairs, or how to register your product for warranty coverage, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions. • QuestionIs the dryer ventless?

    Asked by Sam.

    • Answer Hello there, Sam. We understand your inquiry about the LG WKE100HVA WashTower’s dryer. This model is not ventless—it requires an external vent to properly exhaust warm, moist air. To help ensure optimal drying performance, please check that your vent duct is securely connected at the rear (or side) of the unit, free of kinks, and clear of any lint buildup. Keeping the lint filter clean before each load will also improve airflow and efficiency. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-4-5-cu-ft-he-smart-front-load-washer-and-7-4-cu-ft-electric-dryer-washtower-with-steam-and-built-in-intelligence-graphite-steel/6451030.p?skuId=6451030 If you continue to have questions or need further assistance, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions. • QuestionA few months back I started receiving a D80 error code when drying a load. The code is supposedly for an airway restriction. No kinks, snaked and cleaned entire path, but still persists. Thoughts?

    Asked by EugeneB.

    • Answer Is yours a gas or electric? It may be an issue with a restricted gas line or a power issue. The manual online has a section that shows the meaning of different error codes and troubleshooting you can do to reset things. You can also call LG and be walked through the steps.

  • Questionwhat side of this unit (dryer) does the lint hose come out

    Asked by JayW.

    • Answer Dead center in the back of the unit you have the vent hose. It’s about half way down the unit. I’d say on the lower back side of the dryer which is located on the top, washer is on the bottom.

  • QuestionDoes this dryer have the wrinkle care feature?

    Asked by Alex.

    • Answer Hello there. We understand your inquiry regarding your WKEX200HWA WashTower. Yes—the dryer in this model includes a Wrinkle Care cycle, which tumbles your load intermittently after the main cycle ends to help prevent wrinkles. Troubleshooting Tip: For optimal wrinkle‑free results, avoid overloading the dryer and ensure your load is balanced. Also, clean the lint filter before each use—excess lint can impede airflow and reduce the effectiveness of the Wrinkle Care feature. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-4-5-cu-ft-he-smart-front-load-washer-and-7-4-cu-ft-electric-dryer-washtower-with-steam-and-built-in-intelligence-white/6420308.p?skuId=6420308 If you’d like personalized guidance on selecting the best cycle settings or have any other questions, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions. • Questionare any additional parts recommended/required for this item.

    Asked by lightningcount29.

    • Answer Only if you have them install it for you. I think if you had an electric unit prior and your own basic tools, you should be fine to install. Just check the power outlets and stuff to be certain. They can also tell you what it requires.

  • QuestionHow slim is this. I have to put it in my kitchen

    Asked by Kitty.

    • Answer I hope this helps, but I suggest you look at the dimensions offered on the Best Buy website. I needed precise measurements for a custom cabinet being built for my WashTower as part of my laundry room remodel. I remember a diagram showing all angles of the WashTower with measurements. I gave this diagram to my contractor and the cabinet is a perfect fit. Best wishes! I hope the size works for you because the WashTower is absolutely great!

  • QuestionDo this have 1 plug in or 2 plug in? My laundry area only has 1 plug in. Thanks you.

    Asked by omie.

    • Answer Hi there, Omie. We understand your inquiry regarding the power requirements for the LG WashTower. This unit requires two separate power connections: the washer uses a standard 120V outlet, while the electric dryer requires its own dedicated 240V outlet. If your laundry area only has one outlet, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician to ensure your home meets the necessary electrical specifications for both components. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-4-5-cu-ft-he-smart-front-load-washer-and-7-4-cu-ft-electric-dryer-washtower-with-steam-and-built-in-intelligence-white/J7G564P4VP For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. • QuestionDoes this machine have automatic detergent and softener dispensing, where you can preload all the detergent and it dispenses the right amount based on the size of the load, etc?

    Asked by KatieF.

    • Answer Hi there, KatieF. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding the dispensing features of your LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. HE Smart Front Load Washer and 7.4 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer WashTower. To address your question, while this specific unit features a 4-tray dispenser for prewash, main wash, bleach, and fabric softener, it does not include the ezDispense™ automatic reservoir system for preloading bulk amounts of detergent. It does, however, utilize AI technology to detect load size and fabric texture to optimize wash motions. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-4-5-cu-ft-he-smart-front-load-washer-and-7-4-cu-ft-electric-dryer-washtower-with-steam-and-built-in-intelligence-graphite-steel/J7G564P4V2 For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. • QuestionIs the depth from back of machine to the front base or from the back to where the door/handle protrudes?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hello there! Thank you for your question about the LG WKE100HWA WashTower. We understand you're asking about the depth measurement for this unit. The depth of 30 3/8" listed in the product dimensions refers to the measurement from the back of the machine to the front base of the unit, not the door/handle. When the door is open, the depth extends to 55" to account for the full space required when the door is swung open. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-wke100hwa-washtower#pdp_specs If you need more details or have any further questions, feel free to send us a private message on @LGUSSupport, and we'd be happy to assist! —Renzo

  • QuestionI know they are stacked, but is the dryer deeper than the washer or are they the same depth? My unit now is close in depth. The depth, if the same, will not work for my closet. It will work only if the washer is not as, front to back deep, as the dryer.

    Asked by Phyto1965.

    • Answer Hello there. Thank you for your interest in the LG WashTower. We understand your inquiry regarding the depth dimensions of the unit to fit your closet space. Since the LG WashTower is designed as a single-body unit, the external depth is consistent from top to bottom; the washer and dryer share the same depth dimensions within the unified frame. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-4-5-cu-ft-he-smart-front-load-washer-and-7-4-cu-ft-electric-dryer-washtower-with-steam-and-built-in-intelligence-white/J7G564P4VP For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. • QuestionCan these be used in a RV?

    Asked by Marie.

    • Answer Hi there, Marie. Thanks for reaching out about the LG WKE100HVA WashTower! While the WashTower is an incredible appliance for its efficiency and features, it is designed primarily for residential use in standard home environments. Given its size and electrical requirements—120V, 10 Amps for the washer and 240V, 30 Amps for the dryer—it might not be compatible with the typical power supply and space constraints of an RV. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-wke100hva-washtower#pdp_specs If you'd like to explore more compact or RV-specific options, we’d be happy to help! Asked by Boots.

  • QuestionWe are replacing in a location that has a side-by-side washer / dryer. Which hook-up does this unit go; washer (water hookup side) or dryer side?

    Asked by Josh.

    • Answer Hi there, Josh. When replacing a side-by-side washer and dryer with the LG WKE100HVA WashTower, this unit combines both the washer and dryer into a single unit, so it requires connections for both the washer and dryer. The washer hookup (water supply) should be connected to the washer side of the unit. The dryer hookup (venting, power) should be connected to the dryer side of the unit. This WashTower features a 3-way venting option and requires 240V, 30 amps for the dryer. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-wke100hva-washtower#pdp_specs For more detailed setup instructions, or feel free to reach out to us via @LGUSSupport on social media if you need further assistance.
