Questionif washer or dryer breaks does the whole unit need to be replaced or just the broken unit

- Answer If one of the components breaks down beyond repair, the whole unit would have to be replaced--which is similar to stacked sets. Will stacked, if, say, the washer breaks down beyond repair after a few years, you probably couldn't find the exact same washer to replace it, so you would need to replace both units. Stacking units not specifically designed to be stacked together could be dangerous and would probably void the warranty.

QuestionLooks like a great unit, but the door to the washer is pretty low and would require bending or kneeling to use. Is that correct? Does anyone consider that to be an issue? Has anyone raised their unit on a small platform to help with that?

- Answer This is a little low but its very easy to to pull clothes out as the opening is quite large. The washer is ultra-quiet when running as well.

- Answer You will need two outlets for the wash tower. The Dryer has to be plugged into the 240 V outlet but the washer has to be plugged into a 120 V, 60Hz grounded outlet. The washer comes with a power cord attached, but the dryer does not. The power cord for the dryer has to be purchased separately. The washer power cord is 6 feet. ^Daphane

- Answer When "Wrinkle Care" is selected, the dryer will tumble briefly every few minutes to help prevent wrinkles from setting in the clothes. This option will tumble the load periodically for up to 3 hours after the selected cycle, or until the door is opened. This is helpful in preventing wrinkles when you are unable to remove items from the dryer immediately. Press the Wrinkle Care button before you start a drying cycle. ^Daphane

Gas Dryer, Model # WKGX201HWA and for ALL LG dryers has a diameter of 4". The duct has a height of 41 11/32" from the floor to the center of the duct and if standing behind the unit, it is located 12 3/4" from the left side of the unit to the center of the duct and 14 1/4" from the right side of the unit to the center of the duct. Those dimensions are only available from the CAD/Mechanical drawings for the unit...^Ivan

When the manual says the vent outlet can be relocated to the left of the machine, it means the left side when facing the front of the machine. Which states that the gas dryers can be vented through the knockout panel on the left side of the unit as you are facing it. - Answer Hi, we bought 2 towers and both dryers used with natural gas. The washers are electric, now there is a separation between the voltage of Electric Dryers and gas dryers. The electric dryers need to have 208-240volts to operate because of the heating element while the gas dryer runs on 120volts power for the motor and igniter and a natural gas connection.
