My new washer and dry

Decent but the dryer isn't great
It's a decent unit and fits nicely in a small space. The settings on it are all good even though the "AI" is just the typical settings on any machine so it's mostly just buzzwords. The washer is really good and can get stuff done pretty quickly. The different options on it also work well and it's been nice connecting it to Smart Things so I have a timer on my phone. My main issues with it are the dryer. The moisture sensors are incredibly sensitive so I have loads go from 1 hour down to 1 minute after about 15 minutes of use because of: part of the load being dry and hitting the sensor; dryer sheets; or buildup on the sensor. I also have been getting the issue of the machine getting stuck at 1 minute at the end of timed dry despite cleaning the sensors, clearing out the lint trap, and having had a new vent hose installed when the machine went in. The professional vent cleaner I have come by said if it continues to run and run, it's likely buildup or something on the sensors. These all seem to be common issues with Samsung dryers which I only found out after buying this. It's also basically impossible to move from an overflow pan if you're using this in something like a second floor (or higher) apartment or condo. In order to do anything, it'd take maybe 2 people to pull free from the overflow pan and the tight spot it's in in my condo. Not really sure how they expect anyone to move this to do any kind of maintenance but there isn't really another way to build these things! It works better than my old top loader stacked unit but the dryer is incredibly frustrating to deal with - and I've only been using it for about 3 weeks. If I didn't have to have a stacked unit like this, I'd have gone with a normal set but, alas, I cannot. It's a decent machine but you're going to want to be on a ground floor, have space to move it, and may deal with the frustrations of the dryer. Hopefully this doesn't become an issue that requires me to get it fixed!

Overall happy
I absolutely love the space saving I get from the stacked unit! It has taken some getting used to a front loading washing machine but so far so good. Just have to keep up with the tub washing cycles when the “smart alert “ sends a notification that it’s time. Great feature! One little issue with the washing machine door you have to make sure you get it shut good or it will leak a tiny bit.
