I find if you set the spin to extra high during the wash cycle and then set the dryer for 2-2 1/2 hrs everything comes out dry. *if your steam button is lit see if holding it for 3 seconds turns it off? In the manual it says that button and the turbo wash need to be pressed for 3 seconds

The LG WM3998HBA washer-dryer combo does not have a separate setting to dry without steam. The steam function is integrated into the wash cycles and is not optional. The steam is generated at the bottom of the tub, and a small amount of water is supplied to produce the steam, which can result in dampness at the end of the cycle. You can download its owner's manual through this link for more information: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-WM3998HBA.ABLEVUS. ^Cris
