A capacity of 3.8 cubic feet is considered as being large enough to accommodate most King Size comforters depending on their fluffiness. At 4.5 cubic feet, the LG 4.5 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Washer and 12-Cycle Electric Dryer Combo - Black Steel, Model # WM3998HWA will accommodate most, if not all King Size comforters. You should be able to load the comforter on the washer without having to stuff it in so it gets an efficient and thorough wash performance. If you have to stuff the comforter into the drum, it will not get washed properly....^IFV
