“Many have stated the the control panel is hard to see because it is not backlit. Has this problem been remedied with the newest model?”

• I can see the panel just fine, but I turn the light on when using the washer and dryer. That said, there are lights on the unit, but it isn't fully illuminated for use in the dark.
