• I'm not a gamer but I think so. I would expect it to last as long as it is not abused. It seems better than a lot of the store or lesser name brands.

• It will game acceptably. There will be minimal input lag because this TV does not do much in the way of image processing. It is nothing special in this regard but is certainly no worse that your average entry level TV. LG is a well-known and well-reviewed brand. This is a very basic model of theirs, but it seems to be well built and I would expect no issues out of it in the near future.
