Thank you for your question. I can see how this information could be confusing to you. According to the manufacturer's site the television is 120hz. We seem to have a typo on our web page. I will escalate this and try to get that typo corrected asap. -Mimi

From what I understand, the TV has a video chip that 'guesses' what the next frame will be and actually adds in extra frames to make a '120Hz' picture. The motion clarity is improved by this, but it does slightly lag, which is noticable when gaming. It can be turned on or off in settings though.
