- Answer It's relatively new, we just got 2 of them a month ago. It's an excellent gaming TV, we use ours to play two Xbox Ones.

QuestionDoes the speaker require sound bar ? I experienced good sound from LG in motel and it had larger speakers than my Samsung which had slim speakers and even with sound bar not very good sound.

QuestionLG42LF5600 Magenta Color Shift When Turned OnI have bought and returned 2 new units now and just brought home my 3rd only to find the same issue. When the unit is initially turned on there is a magenta color shift for a fraction of a second before full color is displayed. This is the only time it happens and I have change the HDMI Cable, the Cable Box and not sure why this occurs? I had a LG 42 before that the sound board went out on so I am only replacing with the same new version and never had this problem before. Any ideas?

- Answer I think the PS4 is "reading" the controller initially, hence the magenta, I noticed that to. The first controller you activate is blue, the second red, the third and fourth are different also. Check it out.

- Answer I have tried to make this work also, I have 2 different Comcast Xfinity remotes, the XR11 and XR5, none of the codes will work with this TV, I spent hours trying and searching Google, seems there is no code for this TV, which is a little disappointing because the LG remote is pretty bad.

- Answer As already mentoned, the screws should have been in the box with the LG - 42" Class (41.9" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV - Black, Model # 42LF5600. Quite often people accidentally throw them out. The inventory list of what accessories should have been in your box on page 49 of your owner's manual lists what screws you need and other accessories. You need 4 x (M4 x L14) screws. M4 is the type of screw (Philips head) and L14 is the length of the screw. Most hardware stores would have them or you can order them from an LG Authorized Parts Distributor. You can try calling the LG Customer Interactive Center at (800) 243-0000 and see if they will send you some...^IFV

QuestionWhich wall mount should I get for a catty-cornered wall for the model 42 LF 5600?The table where the TV stood is too small for the legs of this model; it is located in the corner of a room where the walls meet at 90 degrees, so I could mount it on the wall instead. Which wall mount will accommodate this problem?
