Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Big problem with bright spots everywhere. I replaced whole panel to find that it was not defective panel but TV itself. I would recommend other brand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Flashlighting and clouding on a TV is a black uniformity problem found in LCD and LED TVs. Because the LCD screen and the diffuser layers are somewhat flexible, a slight difference in pressure on the frame of the television can change the uniformity of the picture. On some televisions, this can be fixed. There are some sites that give the LG 42" Class (41.9" Diagonal) 1080p LED TV, Model # 42LF5600 a rating of 7.1 with a standard deviation of 2.076%, but keep in mind that this may vary from one TV to another...^IFV

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We're not supposed to post url's here, but I looked up the review of this model on the rtings website and it helped me in my decision. It has a picture of this tv's black uniformity so you can judge for yourself, but the review did state that there is a very noticeable difference between brights and darks on this tv, calling it "patchy looking".
