The Content Share feature on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4K UHD HDR Smart LED TV - 43" Class (42.5" Diag), Model # 43UH6100 allows you to enjoy videos, music and photos saved on your smartphone if it is connected to the same network. It is recommended that you use a wired connection since the wireless connection may not work properly. The Content Share function may not be supported for a router that does not support multicast so you will want to check the specifications for your router. DRM files in your smartphone or connected device will not play and to watch 1080p video with the Content Share function, you router needs to use the 5 GHz frequency. a 2.4 GHz router will not play the video properly. Depending on the encoding, some streams may not play in Content Sharing mode. To use Content Share with your PC, if your PC's Operating System is Windows 7 or Windows 8, you can share files from your computer without installing an additional program otherwise you will need to use SmartShare PC Software to connect the music/videos/photos saved on the PC to your home network and play them on your TV which can be downloaded from the support page at www.lg.com/us. This TV also supports Wi-Fi® Direct and if your phone supports Miracast, you can enable that the select your phone from a list on the TV to connect it...^IFV
