• You do NOT need to upgrade your TV service. The TV will accept and play 760, 1080, and 2160, 4K programming. It will even play old video tapes in the 3x4 format.

• This TV can be used with a basic antenna. The quality of the image you get will depend upon the broadcast channel.

• No you don't need to upgrade anything. TV also works at 1080P.

• no need to upgrade (I didn't and I have directv) and yes, it will get 1080 and look fantastic
