The LG 43 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV (42.5'' Diag), Model # 43UM6910PUA does not connect to the internet through a computer. It has a Wi-Fi built-in (Wi-Fi Certified 802.11ac) and an Ethernet port so it can be connected wirelessly to your router the same way you connect your computer or you can have a wired connection through the Ethernet port with an Ethernet cable. If you want to connect your computer to the TV, you can connect it via the TV's HDMI ports and label the HDMI port that you connect the computer to as "PC" to put the TV in PC mode. You can use the Content Share feature on the TV to share music, video, and photo files stored in your computer. If you have Windows 7 or later installed on your PC, you can play music, video, photos, etc. on the TV without needing to install a separate program. Both the TV and your computer must be on the same network...^IFV
