Yes, I have this tv and Xbox One X. It play very smooth of no lag no skip, it makes game run super smooth even with true 60fps feel much better. For the Xbox put Low lantency mode on, for ps4 pro put on Boost mode on. The 4k on this tv will look really good then 1080p screen.
