Check the battery compartment of the remote control for the LG 43 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV (42.5'' Diag), Model # 43UM6910PUA to see if there is any white, powdery residue or wetness in it. Take care not to touch it or get any of it on your clothing. That white residue is alkaline that can leak from a battery and it is caustic so it can cause burns or ruin your clothes. When it leaks, it sometimes gets onto the circuit board in the remote and it corrodes the components inside the remote. Damage due to a leaked battery will not be covered under warranty, but if that is not the cause for the remote to stop working, if your TV is still under warranty, you will need to contact our Support Center at (800) 243-0000 to see if they can send you a replacement. You will have to send the remote in with your proof of purchase to show that it is still in warranty. They will inspect the remote for damage and if there is no damage internally, they will replace it for you...^FV
