• I have seen conflicting information online about this. After learning more about the LG QNED technology, I do believe it is back lit. The edge lit screen technology is typically used/chosen for lower cost and its lighter weight. The special type of QNED mini back light display is preferred over edge lit technology. I welcome corrections from LG and from others if I am wrong.
