Roku will plug into the hdmi outlet but you can install all the apps Roku has directly onto the TV. Just go to the “LG content store “ on the TV and download both free and pay apps.

You can plug a Roku stick in the usb but the TV has the ability to install all the apps Roku has and more right on the TV.
