    • Answer Hello, Jen. Which 'family controls' are you inquiring about? The LG 43-inch LG UHD UT70 Smart TV 2024, Model # 43UT7000PUA, has a Volume Limit Mode that prevents the volume from being raised above a certain level to protect your hearing when it is enabled.. This feature may not work for audio devices connected to the TV's optical digital audio output or its HDMI eARC port. It also features a TV Lock, which blocks children's shows that you do not want your child to watch. It also uses the Parental Control function (V-Chip) to block preferred broadcasts based on their ratings. Movie Lock blocks movies that are exclusively broadcast on the device and are deemed harmful based on MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) ratings. Channel Locks blocks channels that contain inappropriate content for children. The channels can be selected, but the screen is blank, and the audio is muted. To watch a locked channel, you will need to enter a password. Application Locks, allow you to lock or unlock an application, and Input locks allow you to lock or unlock the inputs. But, i can say that at that point of my setting up of this television, I read through the info that pertained to that which I was being coaxed into checking off & agreeing to but did not check any of the boxes other than terms of use and was able to proceed past that step in doing so.
