“Hello, I purchased this air conditioner and have begun using it. When in Energy Saving Mode, the fan continues to run. I have tried adjusting the temp, turn unit off/on, unplug all to no avail. Is it defective?”

Hi, this may be an indication that the AC is having trouble cooling to your desired temperature. How long is the fan running after the compressor turns off? Power saver mode turns off the active cooling and just keeps the compressor running on low, so its still pumping cold air but at a much lower rate, but the fan stays on to keep the air circulating. These devices are designed to never stop cooling, unlike your ON/OFF traditional AC units. Their isnt much difference between the cool and eco mode, except that the eco reduces the "cooling affect" while still maintaining the target temp.
