“What is the sound quality of this tv? We are in our 70's and we need a tv that does not have a muffled sound as we are having a harder time hearing. The TV willl be going into a cabinet. We do not want to buy a sound bar. Thanks. Wally”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tv has pretty good sound. It actually has a good amount of options to amplify it. I haven’t really used it a lot since I purchased it. As it’s in my bedroom. I purchased it for the bedroom Bc of the deep blacks and glass screen. With a glass screen you’ll get a glare if it’s in a bright room with sunlight penetrating a window. A matte screen usually helps that problem. The picture is great even with a cable box. I would only recommend the top of the line LG TVs and pretty much any Samsung that will fit your needs. I was nervous buying the lg since it wasn’t a Samsung but it def has a sharp picture and I don’t have any issue with the sound. But you’re getting this review from someone (me) who has used it about 2-3 times. So I’m trying to recall. I can’t turn it on now Bc my wife is sleeping and pregnant! Haha! Worst case buy the tv and return it. Best Buy will allow you to. You have 14 days I believe and if you’re snd elite plus member you have 45days. And if you buy total tech ($200/yr) from them you’ll have 60 days. I recommend buying total tech and NOT purchase a Warranty. If you return it you don’t even need the box. They def make it easy.
