“Does this tv have a screen saver mode so you can display a picture instead of a black screen when not in use? Like the tv picture frame televisions that Samsung has? And if yes, can you use your own pictures or do you need a subscription service?”

Yes it does! my issue with it is when the selected input has no signal it shows the picture frame and a message of no signal. I'm not sure if that is just a setting that needs to be changed. But there is also a dedicated app for all different types of art work in frames that look so realistic.

LB I took the 48 back and got the 77, so I have not really had the chance to play with it. Give me a week or so and I will let you know. I know it does have the ability to display a picture, but he rest I'll have to get back to you.
