QuestionWhat is the height and width of this set in inches? My current set is 42 inches wide and 25 inches high. The diagonal measure is 47 inches.

- Answer The screen size for TV is always the diagonal measurement of the viewing screen (i.e. doesn't include the bezels). The LG CX 48 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.2'' Diag), Model # OLED48CXPUB has a diagonal measurement of 48.2" as indicated in the title. The W x H x D dimensions are 42.2" x 24.3" x 1.8". The stand has a footprint of 33" x 9.9" and the TV has a height of 25.6" with the stand attached...^IFV

- Answer Like most, if not all other TVs, the LG CX 48 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.2'' Diag), Model # OLED48CXPUB can be used as a computer monitor by connecting your PC/Laptop to any of its four HDMI ports. For it to display proper Chroma 4:4:4, which is important for reading text, it must be on 'PC' mode. However, 4:4:4 doesn't work on 1080p @ 120Hz.. If using it as a computer monitor, you will need to avoid displaying static content frequently and for long periods...^IFV

- Answer Yes it does, all of the above, it covers you, this TV is awesome. It runs 4KHDR at a 120, boom. An next year it will cover Dolby vision When games come out with double vision. So yes it covers all check ✔ boxes.

QuestionDo you need to purchase a separate sound bar or is there enough volume without it?

- Answer The set has multiple sound settings, one of which is called AI Pro. This is the setting I personally use and it is more than sufficient for my needs. I would recommend trying the various settings before buying an additional sound bar. I asked the same question when I went into a Best Buy store and was given the same answer. Try the settings and you may save yourself some money.

- Answer OLED TVs have special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn in and image retention. First, under OLED Screen Saver there is the Pixel Refresher that calibrates any issues that may arise on the screen when your TV has been turned on for a long time. Calibration takes more than an hour. The second feature that can be employed is the Screen Shift feature which, moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to preserve image quality. A third option is the Logo Luminance Adjustment, which can detect static logos on the screen and reduce brightness to help decrease permanent image retention. ^Daphane

- Answer The LG CX 48 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.2'' Diag), Model # OLED48CXPUB or Model # OLED48CXAUB are bot offered in a BX series, but the differences between the CX series and the BX series OLEDs is that the CX series uses the more advanced LG α9 Gen 3 AI Processor 4K with AI Picture Pro/Sound Pro and the BX series uses the LG α7 Gen 3 Processor 4K with AI Picture & AI Sound, and all four of the HDMI ports on the CX series are HDMI 2.1 ports whereas only two of the four HDMI ports on the BX series are HDMI 2.1 ports...^IFV

QuestionDoes this Tv support room dimming? So when you are going to bed, and it’s dark outside and you have the lights on in the room, the screen is bright but when you turn all the lights out, the screen would dim automatically to match the darker room.

- Answer Yes, a Blu-Ray player will work via the HDMI input. The only thing to note is you won’t get the full benefit of 4K resolution. However 1080p will still look fantastic on the OLED display.
