“Does this TV have Apple AirPlay? And if it does how do I enable it with HomeKit? The Home Dashboard doesn't seem to have an option for Apple AirPlay.”

Yes, it supports both AirPlay and Home Kit. Mine needed a firmware upgrade. Once the ne firmware was installed both Airplane and HomeKit options appeared. note: If you plan to set up HomeKit, do it BEFORE you set up the TV to work with your Cable Box (I.e. enter your cable provider in the TV set up). For some reason, HomeKit will not connect to your instance if the TV is paired with the cable box.
