“Just bot 49NANO85una. When I look at most TV programs there is a very thick black border around the program. If I look at the same program on my 32" Samsung tv the program fills up the screen. What setting can I adjust so that the screen fills on Nano?”

Sounds like the aspect ratio needs to be adjusted, Settings: Picture > Aspect Ratio Setting > Aspect Ratio 16:9 is full screen depending on the input video signal. In settings--all settings and/or--general settings--picture--aspect ratio. That allows 16:9, 4:3 vertical or horizontal zoom and other settings which may provide a solution.
