You cannot record on the LG NanoCell 85 Series 2020 49 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.5'' Diag), Model # 49NANO85UNA. If you want to record TV programs, you will need a DVR that you can record on and connect it to the TV so you can watch recorded programs from it through the TV. You can ask your cable service provider or satellite provider if they have DVRs or you can search online for them...^IFV
