“Can I plug a DVD player with a regular HDMI connector into the HDMI arc port? I only have 1 regular HDMI and 1 HDMI arc and 2 Usb connections on the back of my tv. I have my dish box plugged into the regular HDMI port.”

For HDMI ARC functionality to work properly, the HDMI ARC on the LG NanoCell 85 Series 2020 49 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.5'' Diag), Model # 49NANO85UNA and the device that you have connected to the TV must also have an HDMI ARC on it. HDMI and HDMI ARC are, for the most part, the same. The difference occurs on the receiver side. The attached device has to be ARC compatible, otherwise, it won't work. You can get an HDMI 2-In, 1-Out splitter or 4-In, 1-Out splitter for more HDMI ports if your TV doesn't have enough HDMI ports. The splitters allow you to connect several device (2 for a 2-In, 1-Out splitter or 4 for a 4-In, 1-Out splitter ) and have them all show through one HDMI In on your TV. They come with a remote control that you can use to switch the inputs so the device that you want to view on the TV is the only one that you get...^IFV
