Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 1080-p Vizio and it has been working great for us, so far. Just a thought, I've had 2 HDMI cables that ended up shorting out as I disconnected them from their device in the past...it might be worth troubleshooting with a different cable? Otherwise, you might try connecting the Blu-Ray to a different TV or computer monitor...if nothing still, then it might be bad luck with a DOA unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your TV is probably HDMI 1.2 or lower which is not compatible with this player. Check for firmware update on your TV.if not scrapped the plasma and just go get a TV you'll be surprised on the picture quality. I'm using a TCL TV I paid 399 for, was ten times in improvement over my Panasonic plasma.
