A:Answer If the power is on, there is a chance--depending on how thick your clothes are. The buttons are capacitive touch control (like your smartphone). However, the power goes off when the cycle is complete, so if you don't turn the power on until you've fully unloaded it, this won't be a problem. The machine will not start with the lid open. You have to hit pause to ope the lid in the middle of the cycle. Therefore I highly doubt this will be an issue for you. It has not been an issue for us at all.
