If the power is on, there is a chance--depending on how thick your clothes are. The buttons are capacitive touch control (like your smartphone). However, the power goes off when the cycle is complete, so if you don't turn the power on until you've fully unloaded it, this won't be a problem. The machine will not start with the lid open. You have to hit pause to ope the lid in the middle of the cycle. Therefore I highly doubt this will be an issue for you. It has not been an issue for us at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ive never had this issue. The washer will not start until the lid is closed and locked. If you are removing loads, I can't see why it would "change a cycle" but one thing that is for sure is that you have to press the pause or start button first before using the other functions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bought this unit earlier this week and love it. No problems with buttons, like previos response, you have to hit power and start, plus there is a lock feature before it will start in any mode and this will not engage with the door open. Great product, bought dryer too. Quiet and washes clothes very well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a power button that activates the panel and even if you bump that there is a start buttton that you have to push and hold for a few seconds before it starts. I've had this model for a few weeks and have not accidently bumped any buttons while leaning over.
