Could you please elaborate more about "The washer door won't open"! Is it not opening during a wash cycle or before you start washing? If the door for the washer on the ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient / ENERGY STAR® Certified LG Single Unit LG WashTower™ with Center Control™ 5.0 cu. Ft. Front Load Washer and 7.8 cu. Ft. Electric Ventless Heat Pump Dryer, Model # WKHC252HWA, is stuck during a wash cycle, first pause the cycle and wait 3-5 minutes for it to cool and unlock. If it remains locked, run a "Spin" cycle to drain excess water. The door lock icon often stays lit until the tub drains, cools down (if hot), and stops spinning. This can take 3-5 minutes. If the washer has water, it will not unlock. Power on, select "Spin Speed" (set to No Spin or simply select the Drain+Spin cycle) to force the water out. If still locked, unplug the machine for 10-20 minutes, or use the emergency manual release cable hidden behind the lower access panel. Look at the bottom front of the unit for a small door or panel. Open the panel and unscrew the small drain hose (have a shallow pan ready for water). Next to the drain hose, there is a plastic strap or red cable. Pull it down to unlock the door latch. Keep in mind that the door will not unlock if the internal temperature is too high, or if the water level is too high. The safety sensor detects water, keeping it locked to prevent flooding. If the lock light blinks or the unit keeps locking immediately after unlocking, the door latch assembly may need to be replaced. If the door still won't open after these steps, the door lock mechanism may be damaged...^Ivan.
