I reached out to lg support via facebook. They sent me the AAA76553280 part for both of my units free of charge. That part is a game changer. It’s easy to install and my coil fins are totally clean after 3 months of use. Highly recommend getting this part!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.LG offers a secondary filter for the condenser, part # AAA76553280. I HIGHLY recommend it, because I do find some lint on mine after every use. It's not much, but that stuff builds up. 2 months in with the filter and my condenser is spotless.

We understand your concern about the buildup on the condenser coils for the heat pump. While the lint trap is designed to capture most lint and should be cleaned after every cycle, it’s possible for some lint to bypass and accumulate in other areas, such as the heat pump's condenser coils. However, if you're noticing significant buildup after just one month of use, it may indicate something more. We recommend checking a few things: Ensure that the ezLintFilter is being properly cleaned after each load. Check if there’s any visible blockage in the airways or around the condenser coils. Perform a Tub Clean cycle to help reduce buildup inside the machine.
