  • QuestionIt was said to use the Settings button on the Control panel to be able to set a wash to soak, when someone previously asking about the ability to soak. I do not see a settings button on the picture of the control panel. Can someone from LG clarify?

  • QuestionI scanned the QR code and it says this model isn't supported. I try to add it without the QR code and it says to hold the Delay-Start for 3 seconds but it does nothing. There is no WiFi symbol on the button. The model is WM3470CW so it's the right model.

We understand you're having difficulty connecting your washer to Wi-Fi and using the ThinQ® app. This model does not support LG ThinQ® Smart Technology, which is why the QR code scanning and the attempt to connect through the Delay Start button are not working. The design and dimensions of the two machines and their respective pedestals are different, so the WM3470CW will not fit on the pedestal for the WM2801HWA. Therefore, it is not possible to use the existing pedestal for the new washing machine.     • Answer The ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient / ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 5.0 cu. Ft. Mega Capacity Front Load Washer, Model # WM3470CW, cannot "be butted against the back wall when installing". To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose, and airflow, you need to allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the washer. You will also need to be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances....^Ivan.
